Background
Wanpo took the military dependent villages cultural concept as the brand’s starting point to share stories of the life in village. They listed nearly 800 military dependent villages in Taiwan into tea cans and placed them in the store. Wanpo uses Taiwanese tea in every drink and chooses local fruits from Taiwan, pick them during season and deliver them directly.¹
Currently Wanpo has branches in Japan, South Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Singapore. ²

Environmental public welfare
In 2020, Wanpo cooperated with Truedan to jointly launch an environmentally friendly recycling program. The disposable fabric strips that need to be replaced during the out-of-season period of the shops will be recycled. After sorting, cleaning, processing and sewing, the disposable fabric strips would be made into environmentally friendly bags and drinks backpacks to sell for charity. The amount of the charity sale is donated to the “Taiwan SPCA Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals” and the “Wildland Conservation Association” to give back to the society.³
