I'm a Taiwanese student specializing in History, Politics and Economics. Since mid-2020, I have been actively involved in several NGOs and human rights organizations, including NOW!, Project Taiwan, and Taiwan Mixed, taking part in protests, events coordinating, research, writing, web design and social media management in the process. My interests lie in the intersection between human rights and foreign policy, with a specific regional interest in Russia, East Asia, and Central Asia. I believe that in the past decade, we have witnessed a growing wave of authoritarianism all across the world, and the past two years especially have highlighted the fundamental problems that lie in our society. The issue isn't that some rights have been stripped away from marginalized groups, but that these people never had them in the first place - an injustice that should be righted. This is the cause that I devote myself to.
